Prom season brings out unlicensed and uninsured drivers advertising across Essex every year. Before booking prom transport for your child with anyone, always verify they comply with hire and reward laws:
🔒 The Operator License — the company must be licensed to operate
🔒 The Vehicle Licence — the specific vehicle must be individually licensed
🔒 The Driver Licence — the driver must hold their own private hire licence
All three must be issued by the same licensing authority. If any one is missing — it’s illegal.
